Husky Cap

A customer had this hat on when I was working at the bike shop - apparently it was his father’s when he was in the UW cycling club back in the 80s. I wanted to try and remake it from photos I found online. Moderate success!

Step 1: Isolate the doggo image.

Step 2: Fail a lot at trying to copy this style, get a better idea and give it an honest shot. Try not to trash it before seeing if it actually works…

Step 2.5: Wait… did this actually kinda work?

Step 3: Get the dieline and mock it up for print! (Oh yea, and figure out the type and arc it for the bill of the cap)

Step 4: “Sweet! Let’s get these printed out and… wait, what? I have to order at least a 100?”

Step 5: Abandon project.
